Time out for women november 1712/15/2023 We had a fun day although at first it started out kind of disappointing. Seriously we dropped like forever! Scary!! But I am so excited to start our trip to New York!! Then when we were flying over New York the turbulence was awful! A few times me and Erin thought we were going to die. We talked her into going to Tuacahn this year! So we had an exhausting day but the kids did great for how long this day was. Occasionally she'd let my mom hold her but mainly she just wanted Erin! We were flying back to New Jersey with Erin so she didn't have to fly alone with the kids from her trip to St George. Rylee wouldn't let us do anything for her. They said that several times and finally there was about 10 people who got off to make the plane lighter so we were supposed to leave at 10:00 am and we left at 6:30 pm! I was impressed with how good Jackson was. People were getting mad! Then they asked if people would get off and take another flight. What a frustrating day at the Salt Lake City Airport! Oh my gosh! They had us move from gate to gate and then told us we would be delayed and then we finally got on a plane and sat there for about 2 hours and then got us off the plane and sent us to another gate and we sat there for a few hours and then we got on and they came on and said we had too much fuel and our plane was too heavy. We took a few SELFIES so we would always remember this weekend. I will always CHERISH this MEMORY I have with Ashley. Both Ashley and I left feeling so happy and uplifted. Ashley thought it was funny to watch women dance because you could see what era they grew up dancing in by how they danced. JERICHO ROAD performed and they were so fun when they threw back and sang songs from the TEMPTATIONS, MICHAEL JACKSON to the BACKSTREET BOYS and it was fun to see women from all ages get up and sing and dance to that. And then we felt like we had attended a concert. All of the speakers were awesome, seriously. She is blind and she is HILARIOUS! And JOHN HILTON III. They had the best speakers and my favorites were CHRIS BELCHER. Then on Saturday we were really SPIRITUALLY FED. She played the violin like nobody's business, and she spoke too. She was a fabulous speaker! She shared funny stories and stories that made me cry.I am such a big cry baby! And we heard the music from Elder Oak's daughter, JENNY OAKS BAKER. The first night we really loved hearing from HEIDI SWINTON. It was so awesome! We had such a great time together. What a wonderful and spiritually uplifting weekend we had! Ashley and I attended both days of TIME OUT FOR WOMEN this month.
